yes but the picky upload system will only recognize MPEG files created by one of those shareware programs.

VOB files could contain multiple audio and video streams. I would be better to find a shareware (freeware) program that strips out extra streams to create an MPEG-2 file.

The IA file deriver system can be very picky.

Anyone know of a DVD ripping program guaranteed to create MPEG's that will upload to this site?

I use DVD Decrypter to rip and create a single VOB file. Then I use MPEG-VCR to convert the VOB to MPEG-2, making sure that the audio is MPEG layer 2 - not AC3.

There are other tools out there that do this too.

www.videohelp.com is a good resource for finding such tools - some of which are freeware or shareware.
